I'm all caught up!

Luke here!  I'm so excited I made it to my January post.  January was super fun. I went to Fort Worth TWICE!!  Did you hear that?  I'll say it again for the people in the back.  TWICE! Loved it.

The first trip was for the Fort Worth Train Exhibit with Papa Boat.  Mama forgot her camera.  Boooo.

So...on to the second trip to Fort Worth!  We took Papa Boat to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.  Why not "rodeo"?  I'm so glad you asked.  Don't ask Mama about it, though.  She gets a really bad look on her face.  She misread the tickets.  Mama thought our tickets were for 2pm but they were for the 10am rodeo.  Oops.  I told her I still loved her.

So we toured the Stock Show with all the tractors, pigs, cows, sheep, horses, etc.

But my favorite part was the Science Museum!  See that clear rocket on the table?  There's air blowing underneath.  So you can put things inside the rocket and watch them...

 FLY!!!!  WOAH!!!

See?  It's not just for kids, people.

Guess what we found in the Dino Exhibit?  A PAWPAW-SAURUS!  Fitting, right?  I thought so.

And, of course, trains.  If there's a train within five miles, I'm going to find it.  And tell you about it.

Oh it's a special day.  I'm signing off with TWO pictures of me.
I should probably tell you to expect my next post at the end of February.
Lots to do between now and then!

It's beginning to look a lot like...

ME!!

I mean Christmas.  It's beginning to look a lot like C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S! I wore my Santa jammies just for you.  Don't you feel special?

The month of December started out with a big BANG for Papa Boat's 60th birthday.  Did I say 60?  Surely that's not right.  Is that why his hair looks different than mine?
Happy Birthday Papa Boat!

Mama, Daddy and Happy took me to the Northpark Train Exhibit.  Oh, how I love trains.  But as you can see, my eye immediately went to the tiny tractor.  You can take the boy out of the country...

Are those Jelly Bellies?  I think so.  I'd let Mama comment on this picture, but she said blogger might delete the post if she did.  So here's my comment: YUM.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!  I got the coolest stuff that morning!  New chalk board...
 New electric four wheeler...

New gas powered four wheeler... (Mama and Daddy say this one is really for when I'm older)

and SNOW!!  Christmas afternoon was a snow-blowing, below freezing mess.  But it sure was fun!

So long, blog readers!  Until next time!

October and November

Hello, again!  It's Luke.  See that title?  That's right.  Two months in one post.  Brace yourself.

Mama was camera happy that day.  She said she took 100 pictures to get this one.  Yikes.  Glad she has patience!

Happy Halloween!  Yoda and Luke Skywalker at your service.

I don't remember much about this picture.  Maybe it was the blood rushing to my head...

I remember this one!  Playing on the "tractor" at the Farm! I can't get enough of that place....

Look at that cute kid!  Oh yeah, Mama and Daddy look nice too.

Mama and Daddy's favorite place.  College Station, Texas.  They love to watch this dude named Johnny Football.  Have yall heard of him?  Me neither.
I ran around with my cousin, Reese, the whole weekend.  She's class of '32.  Keep an eye out for her.

Mowing day!  I love mowing day.  The headgear does a number on my hair but I suppose that's what a brush is for.

And another post ended with my smiling mug.  Happy Tuesday!

Hi.  My name is Luke.  Remember me?

If you don't remember me, it's because Mama hasn't posted my picture on our blog since July.  I imagine you were concerned.  Rest assured, I'm ok.

Mama told me I needed a New Year's Resolution.  So here it is.  To start blogging.  Since Mama never has time to do it, I'll help her out.  We'll address the typing/spelling issue later.  Spell check is my frend.  oops.

I'm going to start where she left off.  Little photogging happened in August.  It's Texas.  In August. Why would we want pictures of our heads in the freezer?

So...September, it is!

Mama and Daddy went to New York City in September.  Oh, here comes Mama.  I'll let her tell you about the trip!

Hello blog readers!  Sorry for my absence.  It seems my son is more than excited to pick up my slack!

9/11 Memorial - There are two of these pools.  Both are within the footprint of the original tower.  Very humbling.
Loeb Boathouse in Central Park.  Did you really think we could visit New York and NOT find boats?

Brooklyn Bridge

Jake was very excited to take me rowing.  Again...we couldn't visit a new city and NOT find boats! :)

And that was our trip to NYC!  There were lots of great friends, restaurants, museums, parks and coffee dispersed between these pictures...but I didn't want to enjoy those from behind a lens.  :)

Luke here.  I visited "Papa Boat" in September, too!   Can you see where he got his name?

Fun times at FWBC with Papa Boat!

I'll bookend this post with pictures of me.  I'm the author.  I can do that.

About to help Daddy mow the grass!

Summertime

Happy Hotness!!  I mean July.  Is it just me or does it feel like we're living 3 doors from Hades?
Anyway, June was a much cooler month (even if only by 5 degrees), so let's talk about that instead.  I actually got behind my camera a little this month!

He was not amused by my attempt to divert him from his sandbox.

"You know, they make sippy cups for that"

Gig'em!  Reese, class of '32

Sweet Batten.  Daddy can take cool pictures, too!

Woah.  That's a lot of bacon.

First swim in a lake!  He was more amused by the jet skis than the water.

He loves Ham's Orchard!
Luke and Philip, best buds!

Now you see him, now you don't!

Tanie loved my boots and felt they warranted some photogging.

Luke wanted to play with sticks, so Mommy and Daddy snapped a pic!
