Memorial Day Weekend

What a weekend!  Jake and I got 'kitchen passes' to sail the Founder's Day Regatta on Gringo.  Jake drove us to a glorious victory!  It was perfect weather for sailing...but my body is still feeling the effects.  We sat on the rail so long I think my hips are warped!  We don't need any more kids...right?

 Sunday night was Kathy's Birthday party at Fish Camp.  This place is so cool!  The kids were fishing and playing with snakes after dinner :)

Then we went to the Farm on Monday to do a little hog killin'.   

I had to get this shot after everything was over.  Looks peaceful doesn't it?  Is the swing calling your name?

A week of firsts

Luke had a big week! 

He visited Grandpa and christened his lifejacket

He played in his birthday pool for the first time

He played the "white trash baby" game

 And then he played with his best friend....

Happy Anniversary!

April 28th, 2012 was our 5 year anniversary!!  Can you believe it?  It's even harder to believe that February 2nd marked 9 years together!  Holy moly!

If it's possible, I'm more in love with Jake than I was on our wedding day.  It has been a crazy ride but totally worth every minute!

Happy Anniversary, Jake.  I mean Jakey.  I mean Yackey.  I mean Lobster.
